Hot Water Delivery
There are countless different ways to heat water for your home depending on your need, fuel type, and budget. We service, repair, and swap all types of water heaters. Some may be eligible for rebates, such as high efficiency condensing on demand water heaters or heat pump electric water heaters. You typically get what you pay for with hot water appliances; if you spend less you usually get less water capacity, efficiency, and convenience with advanced features such as a hot water recirculation lines. Below are some common examples of hot water delivery.
Types of Hot Water Delivery
-
Tankless On Demand Water Heater
High efficiency and endless hot water are a great combination! Available in both natural gas and propane, certain rebates may apply. No need for a chimney with these units as they exhaust and intake air from the outside. These come in both condensing and non-condensing styles. Condensing units are more efficient, and typically offer more hot water while non-condensing typically are less expensive but less efficient. In either case, you only pay for your hot water usage—no gas wasted keeping a tank hot all day!
-
40 Gallon Gas Water Heater
These units are your standard water heater. They come in different sizes, but the most typical are the 40 and 50 gallon tanks. Natural gas or propane heats up the water and maintains temperature 24/7. These are usually the least expensive option to swap if it was existing to begin with. These are the least efficient units, however. They are also available with electric feed!
-
Indirect Water Heater
This water heater is a storage tank similar to the gas fired or electric water heaters. However, this system is heated up by a boiler. Typically, a boiler heats up your house and the tank—one unit doing both. However, sometimes in certain instances like commercial kitchens, you have a dedicated boiler heating up just an indirect water heater.
